Join hands with us to patron our Artists-In-Residence, gearing towards their first ever Kamatipura Art Festival!!
Our Participants have come a long way from being led, to leading themselves.
They organized multiple meetings, coffee dates, picnics and outings, occupying public spaces, and cooking for themselves and others and having house parties!
Our participants are now forming a community of sisterhood, and they usually take themselves out for Lunch, tea, potluck parties. here are some pictures from their frequent meetings and celebrations.
Our core value for Haan Hum is to occupy spaces, with power and a sense of entitlement. Being pushed into being the forgotten part of the society, and frequently ostracized, sex workers are considered unwelcome in almost any public space. Through our workshops and outings we empower them to claim the city as their own, and travel in public transport, pccupy spaces, visit spaces for consumption, like museums and beaches not just facilitated, but by themselves.
