Join hands with us to patron our Artists-In-Residence, gearing towards their first ever Kamatipura Art Festival!!
In our Inner Child Workshop, women met the selves they had tucked away — through dollmaking, stories, and stillness/lullaby .
What emerged was not just art, but memory: sewn, stitched, and seen. This was a workshop of many firsts, our first large offsite workshop, our first night workshop and the first time our participants staged their own, creative stories as plays.
A space where healing began with the question, “What age is the self inside you?”

For the women who have worked with us for a long time, now named as "Sakhis", we conducted a deeper exploration of their stories through connecting with Mangroves and Nature, through a unique Offsite Workshop.
It was a lot of fun, and laughter and a time of deep introspection. Their stories formed the beginnings of our upcoming Performance Forum Theatre.

We sent three of our Sakhis, to a healing workshop with art creation and drum circle. They rubbed shoulders with the ordinary citizens of Mumbai, expressing their art, and drumming their emotions, brilliantly facilitated by Sheetal Jain. We were incredibly proud of them, and they were incredibly proud of themselves, for occupying their city in their terms.
